Gear Patrol
If this is where plant-based protein is headed, consider us vegan-curious.
The Manual
Juicy Marbles may be the best thing to happen to the increasingly cramped category since Beyond meat.
Mens Health
A plant-based filet mignon so tender, so flavorful, and so similar in appearance and texture that you’ll fool yourself into eating a high-end cut for a whole lot less.
The Verge
To my tongue, it very much tastes like beef.
CNET
Shockingly close to real meat.
The Independent
Feels like a premium product.
WHAT'S IN THE PACK
Two cuts. All the protein you need.
Two whole-cut plant-based meats. Different cuts, different uses, one seriously stacked week.
The original
Thick-Cut Filet
Meet the original Marbles filet. The 'aromatic, meaty medallion' that made plant-based steak a thing. Lush marbling turns every bite into a velvety slip n' slide of buttery mouthfeel. Rapidly-forming crust locks in flavor, ensuring a pleasant outer crisp while the center stays supple and juicy. And let's not forget the impressive array of macro and micro nutrients that secured this little vessel of pleasure a Nutriscore of A.
The TL;DR? It's nutritious, yet naughty.

We *LOVE*Juicy Marbles! Like an 80’s obsessed stalker song kind of love, minus the creepy felony. The pork-ish is super delicious and versatile. We’ve had it as is, pan fried with a tasty crust. We’ve also cooked it to have pulled pork-ish bbq style on rolls and smoked pulled pork-ish nachos! It’s changed our dinner game in a “life is still worth living” kind of way. When our JM order arrives at our door, we truly feel like we’ve won the game! Thanks for being in our lives, we don’t wanna live without you. Ever. (Even if we have to stalk you).
The most delicious Wellington ever. We have it for Christmas every year, and whenever we’re craving something special. It’s our go-to for celebrations. Everyone loves it. 💕
We were excited to try the Kinda-Cod from Juicy Marbles again, but this time with a wonderful (but not quite vegan) champagne veloute sauce on the fish and German-style noodles. We could not have been happier with the flavor and texture of the cod and the sauce did nothing but enhance the utter enjoyment and satisfaction with the meal (naturally washed down with a nice Gruener Veltliner). We have been nothing but extremely satisfied with Juicy Marbles meats - keep up the fantastic work!
OMG BEST PLANT STEAK IVE EVER HAD!!!!! MUST try if you’re a vegan like me who gave up beef steaks for ethical / health reasons but miss that steaky texture!!!! I’m speechless!
I was skeptical at first… but after taking the first bite I was amazed! Wow, the texture is just like a steak!!! Flavor profile was spot on. Prior to searing on the Blackstone I seasoned the filets with salt, pepper, and garlic. After grilling, I added a little compound butter to the filet and let it rest. My mind is blow - Five star product!! Can’t wait to try more varieties!!
Amazing. Rubbed with a spicy dry rub, let sit, and then baked at 390 as directed. Finished under the broiler to caramelize brushed on BBQ sauce. Great mild meaty flavor and pulled pork texture! It seems to do a very good job of absorbing the spices deep inside. I think these would also do a great job of being a slow cooker style short rib- the texture is very similar! Next time that's what I'm going to do; create a sauce, bake the ribs, and finish in the sauce.
We had a 'surf & turf' night with JM filet and JM kind-cod - they were both fabulous as meat substitutes! The cod was tender and flavorful (and benefited from a vegan lemon dill sauce) and the filet was juicy with a crisp exterior. Paired with a nice Syrah/Grenache blend, it was a memorable meal! I can't wait to try all the other options! We are definitely over the moon!
Tasty stuff, paired well with eggplant. Grilling required being gentle to keep things together, but I pulled it off and my guests ate well for the Labor Day weekend. Thanks!
Seasoned with dry rub, baked in foil for an hour on 275 then brushed on BBQ sauce and baked for another 10 minutes. They were juicy, tasty and have a great "meaty" texture.
Texture is 10/10 flavor is 7/10, i like that it is neutral and you can season it yourself. I have to keep practicing on how to get the flavors to penetrate but went great with the rest of my meal.
Full disclosure: I'm an omnivore so, yes, I'm comparing it to the real thing. But I also eat plenty of and appreciate the fake meats.
Upon removal from the packaging, it has the same smell like some of its competitors (think Beyond burgers), just not quite as prominent. I prepared my Juicy Marbles filet much like a real filet: I gave it a good salting with Pink Himalayan sea salt, heated a pan with some safflower oil and then seared the steak on all sides, while tossing in small knobs of vegan booter and rubbing rosemary on it while I went. The result was a very nice crust without any worry about "overcooking" the steak.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, the texture is NOT that of a filet mignon really but more of a pulled pork or a beef brisket: it pulls apart in that way, sort of like a more solid jackfruit. I initially noticed this during the cooking process, as it wanted to come apart a little when I was a little too aggressive with it.
As far as taste goes, this stuff is pretty good. As a standalone steak, I don't think you'd fool anyone, but if you turned this into a pulled meat sandwich or a taco, you just might. I had no problem plowing through the half dozen I purchased in short order.
So I liked them and the consistency was good. Flavor was lacking a bit. The size was fine although it is interesting on a bun since they are on the smaller side
The outer covering/casing does not hold, needs to go back to the drawing board. Solution maybe to keep the sausages separate in the package. Taste is a bit bland compared to Beyond and Impossible sausages. A tad dry, could be juicier/moist. Takes longer than recommended cooking time so defrosting in microwave and then pan frying on medium high helps reduce cooking time and maintains moisture. Texture is a keeper.
Juicy Marbles is by far the best meat substitute. The texture and flavor to me is similar to like a corned beef with a hint of bacon. I love to sear it with rosemary. I’ve also shredded it with chimichurri sauce and made it into tacos which is off the hook. They shred very easy. I buy the steaks and the roast. Really nice for holiday dinners.
I made the kinda salmon as I used to prepare salmon pre-vegan, with fresh garlic, cayenne pepper and homegrown dill. I cooked it for 10 minutes in the air fryer. Cooking it in a pan would likely be better. I got some vegan cream cheese and bagels so looking forward to trying the leftovers cold like we used to enjoy salmon. Great job!
Absolutely love all three juicy marbles that I ordered. My meat eater even likes the pork ish. The first time I ordered it, I gave half of it away to friends because I wanted to share the deliciousness. I won’t do that again. Keeping it all for myself. And btw.. thank you for creating a perfect alternative. We need more people who care! 🐷 🐮 🐔 🙏🏻
I love the product, it's really great. But it is difficult to get it to 165 degrees without baking it. You have different cooking methods on the packaging, but none have successfully gotten it to a safe temperature besides baking it, which takes forever. I think this should be reflected on the packaging because if people aren't baking it, they are probably risking unhealthy effects.
I’ve been vegan for years and these steaks scratch an itch for the savory meaty texture and flavor I’ve been suppressing for years. They are the best meat replacement I’ve found on the market yet!
Juicy Marbles Bangers are so delicious! We bought 12 packs and are so glad we did. So far, we've made traditional Bangers and Mash with gravy and peas. We also had them in sausage buns with onions and peppers. They are amazing, and have that iconic snap which really adds to the experience.
I cooked these on the stove top, all the way through as suggested on the package and I did not like the taste more texture. Now I have 3 more packs that I don't want. I literally spit the contents out.
OK, so I wish that it wasn’t pre-marinated somewhat. The marinade chosen was delicious. Fantastic but it’s harder to switch to a plain salmon with idk a tarragon lemon coconut cream sauce. The actual flavor of the salmon itself was good. It’s not flaky like say Oshi . But it was good. Still fishy texture just no flaking layers
Exceeds expectations. Great texture on the meat and I looooooved the bones! They were so unique. I'd have never eaten a bone when I ate meat but love these. Took on the marinade well but maintained its own faux ribby essence.
I got to try the new Juicy Marbles Butcher-Minced Bangers and these seriously exceeded my expectations! I kept it simple and made a loaded sausage sandwich with vegan cheese, mustard, ketchup and relish, and the Bangers were easily the star.
They cooked up beautifully with a nice sear on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The texture is what really got me. They have that hearty, satisfying bite you want from a sausage without being overly heavy, and they packed plenty of flavor even with such a simple meal.
I’ve tried Juicy Marbles products before, but the Bangers might be one of my favorites yet. I already know I want to try them in breakfast dishes, pasta and a few other meals. Definitely worth trying if you’ve been looking for a really good plant-based sausage!
