How To Prepare Orange and Whiskey-Glazed Ribs 


1. Prepare the Orange and Whisky Glazed 


Combine orange jam, minced garlic clove, grated ginger, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and whisky in a small bowl and whisk. 

 

2. Glaze the Vegan Ribs

Remove the ribs from the packaging and sprinkle with salt on both sides.

Brush the ribs racks with the orange and whisky glaze and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. 


3. It’s Time to Bake 


Bake the ribs in a preheated oven for 25 minutes at 374°F/190°C, until sizzling and caramelized. Remove from the oven, and brush with the remaining glaze. Slice into individual ribs, and serve immediately.

  •  Use Fresh Ingredients. Fresh garlic and ginger are more fragrant than dried.

  •  Let It Caramelize. Give vegan ribs time to caramelize in the oven for extra flavour.

Yes, leave out the whiskey to make this recipe alcohol-free.

Yes, just make sure you are using gluten-free Whiskey (some might contain gluten due to flavoring or barrel cross-contamination).

You can swap fresh ginger and garlic for dried, but the result will be slightly different, since fresh ingredients are more fragrant.
