SLAW, ROASTED KALE & HONEY MUSTARD
SLAW, ROASTED KALE & HONEY MUSTARD
Serves 1
Cabbage Slaw
A handful of red cabbage, finely chopped
1 big spoon of unsweetened soy yogurt
1/4 of a lemon juiced or a dash of apple cider vinegar
1 tsp of salt
Some chopped fresh dill (or other fresh herb)
Garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper (optional)
Maple Mustard
1 tbsp Mustard
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
Sautéed Kale
A handful of curly kale
Some olive oil
A pinch of salt
Other Ingredients
Juicy Marbles Filet sliced into a few pieces
Sprouts
Yummy bread of choice
1. Prepare the meat by slicing it in 4 slabs and sprinkling some salt, smoked paprika & garlic powder over the pieces. Let it rest while preparing other components.
2. Prepare cabbage slaw by mixing all ingredients up in a bowl.
3. Next toast 2 pieces of bread, either in the oven or on the stove. Don’t forget to turn off the oven when it’s done toasting!
4. Next sizzle the meat. Add a tiny bit of oil to a pan. Add the spiced Juicy Marbles meat and sizzle for a minute or 2 on each side, so each side will get the desired amount of brown crispiness. When each side is cooked, turn off the stove.
Assembling the sandwich
1. Take your toasted bread. Add a squirt of mustard and a drizzle of maple syrup directly on the inside part of both pieces of the bread and spread it in (I do it this way so i have less dishes).
2. Next add the cabbage slaw, meat, greens, and sprouts to the bread and close the sandwich. Serve with a pickle & enjoyyyy!
